Gratitude Journal – January 2021

Gratitude Journal – January 2021

As we start 2021 it could be easy to head into it with trepidation….. 2020 didn’t exactly go to plan, however, I want to start off your year with a daily practice that can truly change your mind, mood and body!

The practice of gratitude has been shown to improve our relationships with others, reduce aches and pains, create a feeling of happiness, enhance empathy, help us sleep better, and improve our self esteem (Amy Morin Article, 2015)

Now that sounds good right?!

What do I want you to try?

Every day of January I want you to finish each day with writing down 3 things you are grateful for that day. It could be someone you met, a sunrise, a nice meal, a smile, a great song, whatever you like. It is your own journal and you can write down whatever you like.

I have included a Gratitude Journal that you could print off or save on a phone and update each day, or of course jot down your thoughts somewhere that suits you. January Gratitude Journal

It doesn’t matter if you miss the odd day, just compete it each day you remember. We will remind you in the group to keep going with it and asking how you are getting on. Please do share with us what you are thankful for or any surprising effects.

I hope this practice gets 2021 off to a great start!
